This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of robots and drones, including
design, programming, and automation. Students will work hands-on with VEX robotics
kits and coding platforms to build and control robots while exploring engineering
principles, problem-solving, and teamwork. Students will also learn to code and fly drones
as a member of a team. The course emphasizes creativity and practical skills that can be
applied in real-world technology fields. Student teams will compete at area and national
level VEX robotics competitions and aerial drone competitions.
Prerequisites: Instructor approval required to repeat the course.
Raider - 2061

This course is designed to challenge JROTC cadets through the practical application of
fitness, health/wellness, leadership, and survival skills beyond the general JROTC
curriculum. The syllabus will prepare cadets for competitive Raider events, which involve
physical endurance tests, obstacle courses, teamwork, distance running, and rope bridge
construction.
Prerequisites: Enrollment in JROTC, permission from instructor, membership on JROTC Raider
