AP Business with Personal Finance is a yearlong course alighned with a college-level
introduction to Business class that also fulfills the Personal Finance graduation
requirement. Students explore the core disciplines of entrepreneurship, marketing,
finance, accounting, and management through real-world applications, case studies, and
project-based learning. In addition, they develop essential business, professional, and
leadership skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and ethical
decision-making. This course equips students with the tools to understand how
businesses shape the world, take control of their careers, and make confident, informed
financial decisions.

Graphic Design explores graphic communication through the understanding of the
elements and principles of design. Students will use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and
Illustrator to develop professional-looking publications including memo pads, posters,
ornaments, calendars, videos, magazine covers, etc. Professionals use the concepts
explored in this course in the following disciplines: advertising, graphic design, web
design, illustration, broadcast design, photography and game design, and marketing.
